Sustainable Living and Exploring Relevant â⬠Myassignmenthelp.Com
Question: Discuss About the Sustainable Living and Exploring Relevant? Answer: Introduction This study deals with the principle of sustainable living that ensure the existing resources will be maintained for future generations (Voytenko et al., 2016). This is all about living sustainably within the means of usual arrangement or surroundings that ensure lifestyle that should not harm society and culture. The current segment explains two aspects of sustainable living as well as exploring relevant innovations that ensures sustainability. Furthermore, the sustainable development is the organizing standard for meeting human expansion goals where sustaining the capability of natural structure for providing the natural resources and ecology services that depends upon the financial system and culture (Schaltegger, Ldeke-Freund Hansen, 2016). Discussing two aspects of sustainable living and exploring relevant innovation to ensure sustainability Sustainable Living can be termed as a lifestyle that majorly attempts in reducing an entity or culture through use of personal resources and normal resources of earth. This sustainable living actually makes an attempt for reducing the level of carbon footprint through altering methods of diet, energy consumption and transportation (Voegtlin Scherer, 2015). As rightly put forward by Pugh (2014), Sustainable development is one of the types of development where efforts are made to meet the needs of the current without even compromising the capability of future invention for meeting their own needs. In this, there are two major key concepts that are present in the definition of sustainable development and it is the necessary needs of the worlds poor that overrides with action depending upon the priority. In that way, the idea of limitation is greatly imposed by the state of technology as well as communal trade on the surroundings that has the ability to meet the present as well as future needs (Schaltegger, Ldeke-Freund Hansen, 2016). There are two major aspects of sustainable living that are mention as under: Environmental- Environmental is one of the major aspects of sustainable living that acknowledges the needs for enhancing as well as maintaining the biophysical systems that actually sustain all lives on earth. This takes into consideration the structure as well as function of natural ecosystems where interactions is present between them and it is all about guardianships of the environment (Schaltegger, Ldeke-Freund Hansen, 2016). Social- Social is another important aspect of sustainable living that in actually acknowledges the need of equity between the generations such as ethnic and social groups. In that way, social aspect is inclusive and deals directly with the mental and physical being that is based upon equal distribution of available resources (Neuvonen et al., 2014). In addition to the above aspects, there are even two major aspects that need to be discussed in this study and these are cultural aspects as well as economic aspects. Cultural aspects looks into the need that is essential for nourishing as well as sharing attitudes and values after representing the diverse world views. It is all about the political need that is essential for the people for expressing the views freely as well as participating in the decision-making process. It needs to address the requirements that will build resilience in the upcoming years. On the other hand, economic aspects acknowledges with the interaction of humans that aligns with the interactions that is noted between the human and natural environment for use of resources for creating goods and services that add to the value of lives (Mont, Neuvonen Lhteenoja, 2014). Strategic Imperatives Reviving Growth- it is necessary to consider the fact that development that is sustainable actually help in addressing the problem of the large number of public who actually live in complete poverty (Schaltegger, Ldeke-Freund Hansen, 2016). Innovation should be based on better design as well as use of new technologies that will provide to act smarter and more sustainable. Use of these tools depends upon explaining the public prospect as well as unease that meet the needs in cost effective way over the scale of technology (Lorek Spangenberg, 2014). Reorienting technology and managing risk- In order to fulfill the tasks, it is needed to adopt reorientation of technology that act as a key link between human as well as nature. In that way, capacity for technological innovation needs to be emphasized upon in the developing countries where the matter is respond quickly and that challenge the sustainable expansion at the same time. It is the technologies of the industrial countries that are not applicable or even cannot be easily adaptable for meeting the socio-economic as well as environmental conditions of the developing countries (Liedtke et al., 2015). It requires solving the problem where countries face pressures on matters relating to arid-land agriculture or in that case control over the tropical diseases. There is still room for improvement through adapting innovations in materials technology, information technology as well as energy conservation and biotechnology that will meet the need of developing nations (Schaltegger, Ld eke-Freund Hansen, 2016). There is gap noticed that needs to be covered up through enhancing the research, development, extension capabilities as well as design in the most effective way. In most of the countries, the process of generating technologies needs to be well-informed through environmental resource concerns. Addition to that, it also takes into consideration ways for improvements such as upgrading the traditional ones as well as making choice f adapting to the imported technologies that will help the environment in huge ways. It is even noted that technological research is devoted towards process innovation that have mostly market value. It is the need of technology where it produces social goods like improved in the air quality or in that increased in the product and these actions will resolve the problems like external costs of pollution or waste disposal to be precise (Jones, 2014). A sustainable future With the emergence of technological innovation and advancement, it is now predicable by people that it is essential to have sustainable future and this has been possible by older cleaner fuel sources. It is now possible to imagine a sustainable future when people look to a post fossil fuel world that includes business (Dyllick Muff, 2016). In recent times, several improvements can be noted where there is growth such as intensive farming, massive increase in the power needs as well as technological innovation that has huge demands and damage on the planets possessions. Addition to that, group are now aware of the plight of developing world where earth observes natural and human-caused disasters that strain the resources of the planet on an adverse ways (Schaltegger, Ldeke-Freund Hansen, 2016). The effects mainly harm ecosystems as well as human population at the same time. It is now become an necessity to develop new as well as cleaner technology that can cope with the energy demand s where sustainability is not just only about environment. On analysis, it is noted that main communal activism association directly relates with the communal expansion side of sustainability agenda are conducted like Fair Trade and Rainforest Alliance, these programs encourages good farming practices where the famers will be ensures to produce luxury goods like coffee and cocoa as it help in receiving decent living wage (Schaltegger, Ldeke-Freund Hansen, 2016). Most of the protester and sustainability expert hope for removing trade barriers in the near future so that it will help everyone that contributes towards bringing economic as well as social development core sustainability at the time of promoting good environment practice (Creanor, 2014). It is necessary to have a clear direction that is backed up with resources where it need management support as well as good metrics for achieving the desired results in comparison with reinventing business process for accommodating sustainable development at the same time. It is necessary to select the best approach where innovation has been in the results of presenting the believable planned dilemma as a shock that can be determined after emergent a new approach in the most appropriate way (Adams et al., 2015). It all because of the economies that are networked and change from the social as well as environmental pressures that is here to stay. It is impossible to avoid several uncontrollable factors where commercial success depends upon having flexible as well as multi-disciplinary skills for responding purpose. Conclusion At the end of the study, it is concluded that sustainable living means utilizing the resources in present and also preserving it for future. In that way, sustainability can be achieved at all levels, be it individual, organization, community and society as a whole. It can be attained balancing to what is called corporate social responsibility where companies utilize the resources in the best possible ways. It is the sustainable development that aims at offering an organizational framework that is based upon the opportunity as well as respect for human values. It is required to use innovation in a way so that it better meet the human needs as well as values. Most of the organization respect best towards sustainable development for achieving the vision where it prefers to use the pragmatic approach.
